Country Music Entertainer

 Biography

 Native Texan Entertainer, Natalie Taylor, has been performing in some capacity since the age of three.  She trained many years as a dancer but also enjoyed a love for singing.  Her dance career was abruptly brought to a stop in 1989 as a contestant in The Miss Texas Pageant.  While proudly representing the Northwest Tarrant County area, Natalie injured her left knee, ending her dreams of dancing on Broadway.  She continued to dream for sometime about performing as a singer.

It was not until the year 2000 that she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a country music entertainer.  Since taking the leap into the music industry she has performed many venues.  Natalie was selected on her first audition to perform for the Johnnie High Country Music Revue.

Natalie has also entered and done very well in local singing contest around the Metroplex.  Natalie also performs at area Oprys and enjoys performing for crowds big or small and really loves getting the audience involved in her performances.  Natalie shares that love with others as a Vocal and Performance Coach helping others try to find a style that works well for them. Her musical influences include Pasty Cline, Loretta Lynn, Faith Hill, Martina McBride and Etta James just to name a few. She can sing a wide range of music including Country, R&B and Soft Rock.

Natalie is currently under the direction of Monty Stallcop of Mi Mo Jo Productions and he has opened many doors for her. She was recently selected to perform at a special taping on August of 2003 at The Hayride Back Porch Country in Shreveport, Louisiana for up and coming Artists.

Through Montys direction Natalie has become a member of the Fort Worth Songwriters Association, which has given her opportunities to network and meet different songwriters.  Although she currently has a demo of cover songs she recently obtained some original material and hopes to make a CD of those songs soon.

For her future plans, Natalie will continue to build her fan base, further develop her performance and vocal skills and perform wherever she can.  She is also positive and hopeful that a CD release party is in her future. She showcased in October 2003 at the LSSCMA Best of Texas Showcase and Award Show where she received Rising Star award by LSSCMA and is scheduled to appear in Nashville in a similar Showcase in April 2004.

 Musical Style / Genre:  Natalie can perform a wide range of music. Her influence is that of traditional country but can add spice where she sees fit.  She has been compared to Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Faith Hill and Martina McBride.  She enjoys the sounds of today but can never pass up an opportunity to perform the sounds of the past.
